Noise Emissions API
Underwater Noise Emissions API
Monitor noise emissions for any vessel type and any vessel journey worldwide. Get an estimation of Sound Exposure Level and assess your impact on marine wildlife.

Designed to Support the Green Shipping Transition
Use cases
Calculate Underwater Radiated Noise Emissions (URN)

Assess the underwater noise impact of your fleet of vessels on marine wildlife by measuring the Sound Level Exposure of any commercial vessel type on any vessel journey.
Get an estimated Sound Exposure Level (SEL) in pascal squared second (Pa².s).
Ensure Fleet Compliance with Industry Standards

Assess vessel compliance with Underwater Radiated Noise emissions regulation thanks to our quick & easy comparison with Lloyds and Bureau Veritas standards.
For every SEL calculation, see if the estimation is compliant with Lloyd’s transit and quiet standards and Bureau Veritas’ standard and advanced standards.
Benefits
Facilitate Environmental Reporting

Integrate our Noise Emissions Calculator into Any Platform Using our API

Easily keep track of Noise emissions without waiting for end of the year global report.

Identify your main emissions source and take steps towards reducing Underwater Radiated Noise.

Methodology
Our Underwater Radiated Noise (URN) estimations are calculated using vessel data from AIS, Randi and Simmard models.
Noise level is computed at each frequency of the recommended third octaves and the SEL (Sound Exposure Level).
Powerful and easy-to-use
How it works
01.
Get Your API Key
Fill-in the form below to obtain your credentials. Free trial is available.
02.
Select Your Vessel
Using IMO or MMSI, select the vessel you wish to calculate emissions for.
This allows us to retrieve key information such as vessel type, speed, fuel type and historical performance.
03.
Select Route
Select Port of Departure and Port of Destination.
This allows us to compile routes that can be taken by the vessel and assess distance, speed, PSSAs.
04.
Answer Format
The response will provide an estimation for Sound Exposure Level in pascal squared second (Pa².s) for the specified voyage.
FAQ
The calculated information available in the estimated time of arrival Module are:
- The estimated time of arrival of a vessel in a port
- The route time
- Statistics of the ship on this route
Our machine-learning software combines the data obtained from a ship’s AIS (Automatic Identification System), with historic voyage data and metocean data to precisely calculate the next port of call of a ship and its arrival time.
To go further on this question :
How Is ETA Computed Using Artificial Intelligence?
The estimated time of arrival Module is a “plug-and-play” solution.
Thanks to 4 Steps, the results are delivered within a span of a few seconds.
